Tools to Manage Stress
MOOD METER: Taking note of your mood at the beginning of the day and monitoring your mood throughout the day may help you to better understand why you feel the way you do. This will help you acknowledge your emotions and gives you permission to feel them without judgement. This means there are no “bad” feelings, they are simply a state of mind and you can decide if these feelings are best serving you in your current situation. If you find your self identifying with a color that is not helping you to serve your best interests, you can find a way to alter your mood. This may be exercise, time with a pet, playing an instrument, listening to music, and more. Please remember to get up from your chair and leave your computer in between classes. That alone will improve your physical and emotional health!
RRR: The three Rs are for students and their families. It presents a good guide for finding balance.
