AVID

What Is AVID

AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. It is an elective program designed to help students who are underserved and are in the academic middle. These are often students who will be the first in their families to attend college. AVID’s mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. Students will learn skills that will help them become better students, prepare them for college, and become educated and responsible participants and leaders in their communities and our society.

How To Join
