Kelly Lyon : Kelly has done tremendous work with GIS, geocoding the addresses of SYVUHS students. She also constantly volunteers on difficult projects. She and Clay established the location of the SY Mission dam using GIS and GPS and conclusively proved that that site was where the dam was located. She has presented in Palm Springs at CUE, at Ventura College, before teachers at Ventura College and at SYVUHS. Her work won 2 awards from ESRI and Trimble at the 2005 EAST Conference. Her work has been featured in the Valley News and the Santa Barbara NewsPress. Kelly is heading on to Cal State Long Beach.
