Erin Gnekow: Erin has done tremendous work in her 2 years in EAST. She works on problems by herself and undertakes complicated software issues. Her Mission Aqueduct poster won Awards at Ventura College and the California Governor's Historic Preservation Award. This has led to awards from EAST and nationally. Her work has been featured in magazines (Geospatial Solutions and Santa Ynez Guest), newspapers (Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara NewsPress), on TV (KEYT) and on commercial websites (Trimble and Ocean Explorers). Erin has done it all and when EAST is mentioned at SYVUHS. She and John Tipich were the leaders videotaping and creating the Isla Vista mapping DVD. This won 2 awards at the EAST 2005 conference from ESRI and Trimble.
